Economics Video Critique

      What the stock market does is tell what company or item is up in the economy and what is down. It's rises and falls occur because of supply and demand. Whatever is demanded by the consumers is supplied to them and that causes the stock market to rise, like Halo 3 being supplied and demanded. It also works the other way around if people don't demand items the stock market falls down.

 Art and music, in the early Mediterranean civilizations, was important to them because it showed how life was, their religious beliefs, and  provided a form of entertainment. They used art and music to express these three things, and we're are the interpreters of it to see how that may have influenced our society and culture today.

       First, the early Mediterannean people used their art and music to show or tell how their current way of life is. It was a way to express themselves and show to future generations how life was. Many arts show trading between cultures and the relationship between the different classes. Music can express how people feel like a sad song or a energetic song to show their mood and let others feel what they feel like they do today.

       Second, the early Mediterranean people used art and music to show their religious beliefs. Many painting and sculptures show us what the people back then believed in. Relgious places had many paintings on the wall of Gods and what they are responsible for. They used music to set the mood of rituals they perform like sacrifices by drumming slow beats as they set the sacrifice on the altar.

       Third, the early Mediterranean people used art and music as a form of entertainment. They had musicians on the streets playing tunes of joy for the passerbys.  Art was used as a distinction of different cultures because each civilization had their own type of art. It interested many of the other cultures and taught them a new perspective of art and music.

        Persian and Western Mediterranean influences are faint, but still there. As aforesaid many arts,musics, and ideas were shared through civilzations. What seemed to work for another civilization  that they haven't yet tried brings ideas over borders and is shown in there culture, as in Chapter 7.
